Walpole Police Department

2tSuepo1hnsorcgeed  · Sgt. John Thayer displays two of WPD’s new Epinephrine Auto-Injectors, commonly known as Epi-Pens. Each Walpole Police Cruiser is now equipped with both an adult and pediatric Epi-Pen, to assist victims suffering from anaphylaxis. WPD is one of few Departments across the Commonwealth to utilize this potentially life-saving equipment. While the Walpole Police Department has employed both Automatic External Defibrillators (AED’s) and Nasal Naloxone (Narcan) for years, which has helped save many lives, the use of Epi-Pens had previously not been deployed.WPD wishes to thank State Representative John Rogers, the Walpole Town Administration, and local resident & advocate Chandler Sullivan for helping us take this major step toward our goal of enhancing public safety in Walpole! Thank you, and have a great evening! #CommunityPartners
