I was amazed at how simple this recipe is. The baked donuts were delicious

and light in texture – not as heavy as the fried method of donuts. Replacing

the egg and milk and vegetable oil with apple sauce, almond milk and olive

oil was not only allergy friendly but delicious too!!

It is a simple recipe that only needs 4 ingredients:

  1. Confetti Cake Mix

2. 1 Cup Water

3. 2 Tablespoons of Unsweetened Apple Sauce

4. 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil

Place the cake mix in a medium bowl

Combine the water, apple sauce and olive oil in the cake mix

Place the mixed ingredients in a plastic bag and cut out an opening at one

end to pipe in the mixture into a lightly greased donut pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 17-20 minutes until the donut is moved from the

edge of each donut cavity.

Make donut icing and dunk cooled donuts in and top with sprinkles.

Donut Icing: Melt 1tbsp. of butter Fold in 1 1/2 cups of icing sugar and 2

tbsp. of almond milk.
